How long have you been in business?
Since 1977
What is your primary product or service?
Custom window treatments including fabric valances, blinds, draperies, sheers, rods, shades and repair of blinds. We also sell upholstery fabric and labor.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We bought a Decorating Den franchise and after 5 years left the franchise to start our own decorating company.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We have been in business the longest of most of our competitors. (35 years). We repair and replace all the window treatments we sell. We are family owned and locally run. We have won the local BBB integrity award for small business.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location in Omaha. We have no plans to expand to a second showroom at this time.
Provide detailed directions to your location
We are 2 blks north of the corner of 156th and West Center Rd on Bob Boozer Dr. We are the second strip mall on the west side of the road. we are in the middle of the strip mall between Allstate Insurance and EVAR Salon.
What type of payments do you accept?
We except cash, checks, Discover, Visa and Mastercard. We also have in-house payment plans.
Which areas do you service?
We serve normally a 60 mile area from Omaha. We will travel further if the job is over a certain limit.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Tom Ehly took over the business from his parents in 2009. He runs the day to day business.
What are your hours of operation?
Ehly's is open Monday - Friday 9-5 and Saturday from 10-1. We are also opened anytime by appointment.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
That the decorating we have done is exactly what they wanted and the house looks just like them.

Always treat others the way you would want to be treated.
